Got a few more pics of the back being glued up for my 15/6/1. Hope to get the top glued on tonight and get to the duratex by the weekend, hopefully.

most folks mount the x-over on the port shelfI'm building a 1212/6 and just wondering if anyone can please help. Where is the best place to mount the crossover. It's a Speakerhardware built cbg. Thanks.
Thanks, guys. Can't wait to see yours, Bardley! Vols Orange is gonna look pretty sharp. What are you doing for a grill? Just a thought: Being that you're painting the baffle white, you can easily spray paint any type of metal grill white too. That would be sharp, IMO. Orange would be cool too, but finding a rattle can in Vols Orange might be difficult.
Mike, I got the grill kit from Leland just like you and I plan on painting it white. I already have gotten white mounting screws. Should be pretty cool. I glued the top on last night so I hope to get the edges rounded next and use the bondo on any blemishes and get to the duratex hopefully by Sunday. Today is my wife's birthday so I probably won't be working on it tonight, or at least I better not.Probably going to do a gloss white on the grill and I am using flat white on the port and baffle.
That just put an image in my head of a completely white cab. That would be...interesting.
Actually, I'm just finishing up a Invalid Link Removed... White 1212/6 with black grill and accessories. Just Duratexing it right now and will need another coat, but looking good so far!

Hmm. I see opportunity here. An entire line of "Gigging Musician-Friendly fEarful Accessories" that attach to the cab via an as-of-yet undeveloped universal mounting bracket of some type.
Smoke exposure gauge
Bottle opener
Condom dispenser
Water bottle holder
Spring-loaded cord reel
Mace (for those really tough gigs)
Pick holder
Cell phone/iPod charging dock
Tripod mount (for capturing the gig or ladies dancing)
Business card holder
Outlet wiring plug checker (gotta check house wiring first!)[/LIST]
Everything would be labeled, of course:
fEarful: The Swiss Army Knife of Bass Cabs
or something like that.
Thank you, thank you. I'm here through Tuesday!![]()
