fEARful 12/6 with a different 1x12?

For many happy years, I have been using a Markbass head (LMIII or Ninja) with one or two fEARful 12/6s. I love the amp/cab combination, but I rarely have outdoor or really loud gigs in the past few years, so I have an unused 12/6 sitting around. Most of my gigs now are small-to-medium venues and if larger, I usually have FOH support. I'm currently using an old, beat-up GK MB112 for small gigs.

I'm considering buying a Markbass CMD 121P combo, which would work for the smaller gigs while allowing me to power another cab. I have used matching cabs for the past 25 years, but I wonder if using this combo with one of the fEARful 12/6s would sound good, or if I would get weird phase issues. The idea of a light, portable combo providing power to the 12/6 for bigger gigs is intriguing.

I know there are lots of other options beside Markbass amps, but I have had three of them and they just sound great for the warm-but-clean fretless sound I like.

Anyone tried a fEARful 12/6 with a different cab? It goes against my preference for matching cabs, but I'm intrigued by the possibility.
