fearful 15/6 vs lds 15/6

I don't believe these would be applicable here.

They could be if GB had legalled up the first release. if you invent something you generally have some rights to it. Afaik tons of things in all different areas use public licenses that do things like requiring you to give credit or release your mods etc.

See bfms model for an example. If I start selling jack112s when I'm not an authorized builder I could easily be legally liable.

Not dating don is just noting it is more than possible to release plans under a license.

When GB first released his he was pretty specific about no commercial use. I didn't think don applied because he wasn't mass marketing them but opinions vary on that.

"mass marketing"?????? You gotta be kidding. That's just ridiculous. Don barely answers emails and has a rudimentary website with no mention of fEarful whatsoever, LOL. Couple that with the fact that he was regularly lambasted in these forums for NOT building cabs strictly to fEarful spec AND has been building his own multi-driver crossed designs for years and you get a whole lotta hoopla over nothing:rollno: Sorry for repeating this drivel ; the whole subject is like cyber reflux IMHO.

Why cant people just drop it? Whenever LDS and Don are brought up, someone has to step up and be a fEarful martyr. But all they're doing is perpetuating drama that is years old.

Don Oatman is not an authorized fEarful builder.
People not on the authorized fEarful builder list, are not authorized fEarful builders.
We done?

Sorry I corrected m post, What I meant to sa is I didn't think don applied because he WASN'T mass marketing them.

I was the first one to get a 'fearful inspired nearful' from LDS. I figured paying Don to do it was pretty darned close to paying some local carpenter to do it.

Don's the man. His attention to detail is 2nd to none. My 156 cabs weigh right at 45 pounds.
