Fender 2018 MIM Player Series

have you had any issues or tweaking to do installing them?

the pics you posted bug me. How did you get from 4 holes per tuner to just one? With no marks at all?

It's a replacement MIM Player neck, roasted maple. I've just picked one up myself and they don't have any screw holes pre-drilled, so there was never any 4 holes to begin with.

For a stock Player neck, you'd have the holes remaining. Could fill them but would still be noticeable.

I was looking on Thomann at the Player Jaguar Bass, and the pics show it's string through! I thought it was supposed to have a standard bridge. Who's seen one in real life?

Finally finished up on this one. It’s been difficult since I’ve been in the hospital so much over the last two months, but that’s life.

No electronic changes on this one, I am actually really digging the sound it came with. Upgraded roasted maple neck with ultralites. Ashtray covers that I really dig!

I’ll post my Player series P bass when I’m done with that one soon.

Nice. If your original neck was anything like mine, I'd call that an improvement, for sure. My neck is a bit too bright for my tastes. The body isn't quite as dense as I've come to like either, but it really is a great bass, overall.
Nice upgrades.
Thank you!
And yes, these models have been crazy hit or miss. My P bass is the third one I finally settled on.... and even it came with a dead side of the P pickup.
I think their quality control is completely awful.

OMG that looks so fine, where did you buy the roasted neck? Ironically I got a rosewood neck and decided to just build myself a different p bass altogether instead of swapping out the neck on player P (though I did change the tuners). But that looks so good I think it might suit the buttercream p bass.

Thanks! I think I bought one directly from fender, the other one from Sweetwater.
Go to Sweetwater and search
