Fender 60's or 70's Jazz Bass

I currently have a Fender Player Jazz Bass with roundwound strings. Recently, I've been looking to expand my collection to play a variety of songs with the full feel of the bass used to record it. Two of the basses I have been looking at are the Sterling Ray34QM and Fender Vintera Jazz Basses. I plan to put rounds, ashtrays, a finger rest, and a mute on the Vintera to get the full vintage package. However, I've been in a dilemma lately. I don't know which one to get: the 60's or the 70's Jazz Bass. I'm leaning toward the 60's Jazz Bass for its darker tone, but I would like someone to tell me the facts and figures of the difference between the 70's and the 60's Jazz Bass.

Thanks in advance,
Ethan Park
