Not mine. I bought one of these new in 2011 and love it as much today as I did then. Please post and let us know how you like it!So I dug out my 2001 50th the other day and liked it a whole lot I wanted to see what the 60th was all about. I put an offer in on reverb for the 60th and it was accepted. Hasn't shipped yet. Anyone use to own US11300227?

Congrats, and thanks for the pic. Hopefully it just needs a good setup and you won't need a shim. And I've been perfectly happy with the pickup, so hopefully you won't need to change it.
One thing I've noticed -- and many people have commented on in this thread over the years -- is that this is a pretty bright-sounding bass with the tone knob turned up. You don't need to set it that way, of course, but I've definitely come to favor flats on this one for a deeper, richer sound. (I just put a new set of TI flats on it that I happened to find a great deal on.)
Look forward to an update about how you like it after you've put a few miles on it....
I don’t own my 2011 60th anymore but when I had it, I had it set up this way. E and G slammed and maybe .012” or less relief in the neck. My current P basses with that bridge are almost slammed on E/G as well. The only thing I noticed is the bridge is decked on the E and G,
One thing that I’d check on based on the perspective in the last pic, is the break angle/witness point of the E string over the saddle. Looks rounded in the pic. If you give the string a press of your thumb over the saddle, it may help that a bit.
Well, this raises the age-old question of what the stock pickup actually is. If you search this thread for "pickup" you'll see that different people have claimed to find different answers in various Fender sources. So after playing it some. I believe these aren't the stock pickups. It looks as though someone was in there(not the best soldering job). The pickups read 10.5k. Anyone know what the stock ones read? It could be the stock in there, maybe someone put it back before they got rid of it. I know the 62 original and mike dirnt both read 10.5k. Not sure on the 62 original but the mike dirnt are 5.7h.

Yeah, that must be kind of annoying not knowing what you've got in there. No way to track down the previous owner?Well that's sucks.
I'm curious what led you to doubt that they were original pups and thus prompted you to go inside and peek?
I don’t have mine anymore but I definitely don’t remember any unusual noise.Resurrecting this post, cuz there is a sweet one of these in the classifieds here on TB. Gotta admit the force is strong with this one. Reading through this thread I see numerous mentions of noise with these. Is it any worse than any other PBass or is it inherent worse with this particular model. Thanks in advance.
