Whew! That was a close one, huh? Kudos to @MovingPitchers for whatever he did that "brought back your sanity."I almost did a grave mistake by wanting to trade/sell my 60th...I’m my defence I’m not paying much these days and I got tired of flats. So I was like : “Why would I need 2 P-basses with rounds? I’d rather get Jazz or PJ for a different sound!”. Well, I wanted trade only but got people reaching out wanting to buy this bass. Thank God @MovingPitchers brought back my sanity. She ain’t doing nowhere!
Absolutely gorgeous! Maybe one day I’ll have guts to do this to my bass!View attachment 3897547 View attachment 3897546 View attachment 3897547 Zombie thread...I checked the finish on my headstock with the blow dryer/compressed air trick. It came out better than I expected. Just thought I’d share the results. By the way, the nitro on the neck cracks and melts very easily, so not a lot of heat is needed.
I hear ya. I have basses that I've owned for longer, but none of them have come out of their cases since I bought the Anniversary P new in 2011.Recently realized that 60th is the bass I’ve had for the longest time. Unusually after 2-year mark I tend to change things, but my 60th stayed with me since 2015. Sometimes I have stupid thoughts about selling / trading it, but then I just take it off the wall and start playing and I say “Oh yeah, this ain’t going anywhere”.
