Fender 76 Fretless Precision Bass originality check?

I think the body is a refinish, not sure if that's the original pickguard, or the knobs. Might be, I just can't tell. Still looks great though.
Hey...I'm not familiar with the fretless necks of that era, so get a second opinion, but that fretboard look unfinished, maybe sanded down? Also it looks like the truss rod access is pretty high in relation to the body. I had a 75 p bass, and I don't remember being able to see the truss rod access at all. I had to remove the neck to see it.
