I don't tend to like super fancy-looking wood on guitars. I can totally understand why people do. I also cannot imagine spending $17k on a guitar. I've never spent that kind of money on anything (other than a house, of course, which was way more expensive).

The design on that P bass looks similar to the T shirt graphics one finds at the authentic "surf shop" on Lake Erie. Typical dreck.
Erie surfers are renowned for their skill at slaloming around the floating solid waste while bustin' a monster 3 footer! Bitchin'!

I’ll trade my mid 80’s Santa Cruz skateboard I still have w/Kryptonic C-70 greens and Indy Trucks for it. I even have a spare set of the C-70 wheels, unused.
I’d be embarrassed to gig that thing. Any pics of me playing it would haunt me.
