Some sort of thumb rest on the bass side of the sound hole?I’ve wanted an ABG for a long time, but just never pulled the trigger…picked this up yesterday…CB-100 with nice gig bag, $200. It’s in almost new condition, looks like it’s barely been played. I’m surprised how good it sounds and how well it’s made for what it is. The guy I bought it from got it from somebody else in a trade and didn’t really use it or need it. He put some new strings on it but I think they are maybe a little heavier gauge than what it was setup for…I think the action is a little higher than it should be and so the intonation is just a shade off. I’m not sure if I’m going to keep the strings or adjust the truss rod. Anyway, here it is:

Where'd you get that thumb rest. Never saw one like that. I'm a pick player so I wouldn't use it, but its nice to see a reversible mod on an ABG.Yes, but fortunately it’s just a clamp-on rest…no ABGs were harmed in the addition of the rest.

Congratulations on your purchase...as B-Mac said I love mine and the lutehole cover cuts down on feedback when the bass is plugged to my amp.I’ve wanted an ABG for a long time, but just never pulled the trigger…picked this up yesterday…CB-100 with nice gig bag, $200.
