If by "second version" you mean the one with the burst paint job, then yes, that's a beauty. I love my black and gold and I play it out more than any bass I currently own (what with being in an "acoustic" band). The burst wasn't available when I bought my Kingman II but if I had to replace mine I'd most likely go for that one. Looks even more "acoustic-y".

I never really noticed any neck dive, probably because it fits so snug against my body and we play sitting on about 75% of our gigs. (We are supposed to play a stand-up concert-in-the-park this evening but the weather looks bad.)

The GHS 7700s are sounding better every day as they wear in.

So I usually played my Kingman V1 sitting down because I never used it for a show, its really only been for me to noodle or write songs on, or to play along with bandmates or friends when they want to have an acoustic jam. Even sitting down I noticed my left arm sagging, but it was more so that plus the body being uncomfortable for me that pushed me to get the V2 which I can play for hours without the same uncomfortability as the V1.

And when it come to the black and gold, I liked my V1's classic acoustic color scheme but black is one of my favorite colors and black and gold is ALWAYS a great color combo. The Mahogany neck is also a nice touch, it feels so good to play on. The burst is absolutely beautiful though

Black version in action. Neck dive while playing standing up can also be cured by having an ample belly to hold it against!

:roflmao: I'm not quite there yet with my belly, but luckily the V2 is much lighter and I can play it for extended periods of time standing up. the V1 has been retired, but will definitely think of this tip if my belly grows to give me enough cushion lmao

Looks like the only Fender ABG's not represented here are the GB-41SCE & BG-31

BG-32 NS player here! :)
Not necessarily my "allround" bass, but it has its secured spot for a certain kind of "semi-plugged" gigs with a pop-rock group.
Got it at my local store for half the price because it had a small hole on the side, likely from a careless customer. I fixed it with wood paste and I'm fine with it. Usually I play it through the HX Stomp directly into PA, whatever there is.
