Fender Active Jazz Deluxe Pickguard too small for Fender pickups !?

Good day everyone ..

I was hoping you guys can help me with this.

So I bought a 2003 MIM Active Jazz Deluxe and replaced ... everything.

The pickups I got for it are the noiseless Fender Jazz pickups (Gen 4) and they are actually slightly larger than the original pickups (maybe 1 - 2mm each side)

The pickguard barely fits now ( I dremelled my way to victory and it looks okay)

Is there a different pickguard i need to be looking at ? Am I missing something here ?

You're missing a pickguard that fits the new pups. I don't see them on Fender's site either.

That’s what I thought

the funny thing is mine is a 2003 which did not come with Noiseless pickups the next year did so I compared the Pre upgrade and post upgrade diagrams and they all say the same part for the pick guard.

I might check the pick guard part for the elite series as he new noiseless gen4 seem to come standard on those.

I did dremel it good hahaha
