Hi Everyone, I'm looking at a Fender Elite Bass for Fathers Day. What is the color you like most and why. What do you think about changing pickguards to alter the color variables? Thanks everyone for your input.

I didn't expect a side to side comparison, the ebony fingerboard is crazy. Thank you!View attachment 3050640 Here’s the color choices that I like.
Olympic White.
Saw a white P bass with a pearl blue pickguard last year and thought it looked great.
Then I saw one with a red pearl pickguard, not just the typical red one, but one they called cranberry, a nice dark red, and I thought it looked even better.
I've seen them with gold pearl, too, and really liked that and I'm usually not big on gold.
The thing is, with white, you can have three or four different pickguards and change them every month or two…as long as we're not talking black, white or tort pickguards!
The grain on the fretboard is very nice.I really like the natural finish, I didn't realize it had a gloss to it. I like the figuring on the neck, Beautiful!
Replaced the stock black pg, slapped on tortoise & black knobs.
