Very sweet sounding jazz...it's made me put down my StingRay for a while...

I have this same bass (although with the off-white pickguard that will be changed......Believe me ! ) in a 5 -string with Bartolini 91 passive J pickups and it just SMOKES !

My American Deluxe '97 Jazz. What a great bass it is... I really can't justify buying another Fender... but looking at this thread I could really go for a nice P bass.

I think I may have to sell my TBC 5er to get one of those(RB5=best five I have ever played).

I've really been taking a real hard look at those basses.

P.S. Since we're in the Fender groove I'm going to throw in my last Fender style, all Warmoth. Korina P body, quilt cap, all Bird'seye J neck, EMG P/J w/18v BTC. I really love this bass - it's a workhorse that always sounds great.....

I've considered airbrushing my pickguard in a similar fashion to yours, but only in the sunburst colors of the bass.
