Fender Bassman 100T Chapter 3

Thanks, I would imagine another Neo 410 would be awesome! Not sure what the 116's are. I tried googling but couldn't find, did you possibly mean 115's? Cheers!
Since I got my rig 3 years or more ago, I have tried to find an excuse to buy another 410Neo because that might be the hottest looking rig out there, either stacked or side-by-side. But there's no reason to do it that I can see, especially after what I heard the thing do last Saturday. The one 410Neo has more than filled the stage on big gigs with FOH, even outdoors. And it more than handles medium sized venues with no FOH. But a stack would be so freaking cool looking.

Agreed. My 115 Bassman pro is possibly the best cab I've ever owned .... And I've owned many. .I sold my 2 Bergantino 12"s after I'd had the 115 for a while as it did what the 12"s do. ..But in a matching Fender package and in one cab. I used it on Tuesday night at a corporate gig and again had more compliments on my tone than almost any other time, and it just "sits" in the band mix perfectly.
Love it.

These Bassmans make me sell my other amps as well. Since Namm 2012 where I heard these for the first time I knew right away this is the sound I was searching for, ordered a Bassman 100T and a 610 Neo and been very happy with them. A year ago I bought the Super Bassman with a 410 and 115, slightly used, and they're all great.
But don't mix the 410 and the 115!

All of the musicians I play with love the sound of these amps. All of the sound guys and recording engineers loved the DI as well, these are great!

Hey guys I just noticed a volume difference when switching over to the modern channel with all volume and eq settings the same on both sides.

For example, I'll have the master at 5, volume at 4 on the vintage channel and have to bump up the modern volume knob to 7 to get the same output. Is this normal ?

That was my assumption, that the modern channel would be louder when switched over too but this not happening. I do not mind keeping the volume louder on the second channel to keep output levels equal but I am a bit dissaponted. This does not happen in my 300 pro.
Where is your blend set? I would guess you have a bad V2 12ax7 pre amp tube.
See page 10 in your manual.

You are the man bro! Swapped out a good pre amp tube from the 300 pro for the questionable 100t modern channel pre amp tube and the volume is way up.

I had not considered a bad tube since the amp has less than 5 hours of play time but the tube was indeed bad. A $20 tube is a small price to pay for piece of mine. Thank you!
