Fender Bassman Neo 115 with 4 ohm Speaker

There's a cabinet, I can't think of the brand, that came out a few years ago. I want to say it had 2 15s in it, but one faced downward.

I believe Boom Bass Cabinets (BBC), Glasstone, and Schroeder have or had designs like that.

Yes!! That's the one! Found a description on Reverb (BBC Boom Bass Cabinets 1212 Tank Red | Reverb)

That design may be worth looking in to.

Schroeder also has 115 cabs with 4 ohm loads.

Another option you might want to consider. Contact a speaker reconer like Freeman Tuell and see if they can replace your existing neo 115's speaker's voice coil with a 4 ohm one. If so, you keep the speaker matched to its existing cab and it's going to cost less than a new neo 115 cab.

Also, shipping that speaker to and from to have the work done is going to cost less on a neo than a heavier speaker.

I ended up finding a good price on a Milkman Half and Half Bass head and went for that. It's got the same fender style tone stack I was looking for and I've wanted to try one for a while. Should fit the bill and it was cheap enough I may not have to move the Showman
