Fender Bassman TV combo

I played the 1x15 combo with a roadworn fender P in Billys last year. I have to say I was not overly impressed. The tone was almost a little flat across the midrange and just a bit too warm if that is possible. I also really opened the account on the volume and found it had little headroom or overall volume. I'd love to give it a crack with another bass or two just to get an example. It's a great talking point of an amp but I'm not sure I could find a use for it personally.

Have had my for over a year. It's great for a warm classic tone, but be aware that's about all you really get from it. If your looking for versatility than this amp is not the way to go. However, if your dead set on that warm tone than go for it. And ya, now that prices have significantly dropped on them its really not a bad deal.

I remember the first time someone asked
me if I bumped; I didn't know what to think:confused::D
Seriously though I am guessing these are made in mexico(?)
since lacquer is used in the description. If so that is a whole lot
of pesos!
Anyone?
