Fender Bronco 40 or TC Electronic BG250??

Hello to all,

I am thinking of buying a new amp, and after searching in a while, I am thinking about these 2 amps, but I am in doubt because (for example):

-The Fender Bronco 40 gives you more tone/sound choices but it is only 40W, something that means that is not that big for a gig.
-On the other hand, TCE BG250 is fine for a gig but it doesn't have all these sound choices.

What would you recommend me and why? Which one is better in general, and what are the pros/cons for each one!!

I owned a Bronco 40. It was a fun little amp to fool around with. Get the BG250, the sound choices on the Bronco, while fun, are not amazing.

Don't look at bass amps as sources of variable tones. Instead, get an amp that is big enough to play out with, and sounds good on it's own. Add pedal fx if you want variety. +1 the BG250 is an actual bass combo, while the Bronco is a practice tool.

Awhile back i was looking at the same two amps. I bought the tc and have not regretted it at all. The tone print gives you tones of tones. And its loud enough to gig with

For personal practice and digital recording the Fender Bronco 40 is by far the superior choice.

I bought a bronco 40

I gave it to my son .

Not a bad practice amp . To use all its features requires some time linked up to a computer. That ,for me,takes the wind out of my sails when I juat want to play.

I kept my GK 400RBIV and neo 112 for me ,and passed the bronco on.

The fender bronco is pretty good for home practice, but the fender rumble would be a good choice for small gigs and medium-sized venues.
