I'm going to check out a used BXR Spectrum cab this week, as I'm in the market for another 18" cab. I also like the idea of the 2×10 speakers as well, but supposedly the crossover in the cab is not working.
Does anyone have any experience with this cabinet? Are the 1×18 and 2×10 really useable independently, without the crossover?
Also, does anyone have thoughts/experience in regards to whether the crossover is worth trying to repair?
