I actually found two small things I am concerned about my '64. The first one is rather cosmetic, and I have no problem with it - in the left neck-socket outer wall, there is a small area free of lacquer, as you can see in the photo:

I don't mind it at all, I can say it gives the bass some kind of character.


The second one is in the tuners: they all seem to have a kind of cavity/gap, and not making direct contact with the headstock in all of their length:

The whole bass is really nice, I love it and don't want to part with it - I just need to know if I should send it back to Thoamann for a micro-fix.
