Just got my first Fender CS

2011 Fender Custom Shop
‘64 Jazz Bass NOS
Lake Placid Blue
Rosewood FB

I love it. Best bass I’ve ever owned, light resonant, the neck plays great, sounds like thunder through my Orange, and I got it for a really good price.

Congratulations on a really nice score! I played this bass at CME (I live about a mile away) and almost bought it on the spot. I was first going to look around a little more as I've been targeting a Jazz bass for home. I went back to buy it and it was sadly gone. Congrats again and please let me know if you decide to sell it at some point. I will buy it.

Ill keep that in mind, however I have no plans of it going anywhere.

I got my first Jazz Bass a year or so ago.

The only detail I can point out is the clay side dots could have been bigger. I'll put stick-on pearl markers on it soon.

I had a Limited Run American Jazz that came with all the case candy, inc the tweed cable, mutes, and vintage-style strap. That was back in 2018.

I also heard tales of dealers robbing case candy to sell on.

I bought it second hand so I honestly don't know. But these are drop in replacement. I just made a bit of aging treatment to them to avoid mirror shine :)
