I have a 2005. As much as I can see, that build uses a lot of standard parts. I believe the pickuos might be s bespoke CS wind but not at all exclusive. I think you can buy them off the shelf.
I dwapped out everything else, bridge, tuners and pre amp without re drills, so I can put everything back.
I think the colour scene is a CS colour and the neck is quartersawn so basically the difference from standard builds ...from say an Elite, is woods.
And I can't say there is anything great about that.
I have 4 custom builds by 3 makers, and CS is the 'worst' in terms of features and extras, or anything tangible that makes it special.
So, my opinion is that it not in anyway a significant upgrade to an Elite 2014 vintage, so I'd pay accordingly.
At best that would likely be $700 extra and thats generous for basically the CS logo and cache.
Doesn't make it a bad bass, but nothing overly special either. imo.
