Fender Custom Shop Club

I'll be the odd man out here. Here's my Custom Shop Bass VI:

Why most FCS basses come out with active electronics, what's the point?
As slick_tu pointed out, most of the latest posts are of the Custom Classic Specials which come with active electronics. You can order a FCS bass just about any way you want it.

Thanks for the "WOW", BIGEJ2. I thought I would try one more time to post some "good" pics of the neck. I'm not a photograher and my camera certainly isn't the best, so it's hard for me to take a pic that shows how it actually looks. Which is much better than the pics show. Maybe these will show it better.

I'm not worthy of a CS bass because I have a lot to master on this instrument.

I am, however, a huge fan of these CS basses as pure works of art.

Keep those Pics coming, please!
Even though I obviously think mine looks fantastic, I don't view it as a work of art. After all it is a bass guitar. It's meant to be played and I use mine as my main bass and play it just about everyday. That's what i bought it for.

I'll do my best to keep it looking great, but I'm sure eventually it will start to get that true roadworn look.

I do get alot of compliments on it's looks and I have fun showing it off, but the most enjoyment I get is playing it.

Am I worthy of it? Heck yeah and you are too. Like I said it is a bass guitar. Just happens to be a very nice one. :D

+1

Play, not display.

Anyone interested? I'm willing to start one ...

I have fallen for this bass big time. I actually haven't seriously checked the TB Classifieds since I got it a week ago! ;)

Want a number? Shall we start a club?

Pete, I still cannot fathom ever selling this bass and am greatful to you for taking such great care of her and giving me the opportunity to own the best bass I have ever played!
