I think it's not original either. Tried the bass and it sounded flat and dull. My 61 sounds better, more clear and growly.

Just got myself a 2011 Custom Shop Precision Classic closet Pro in the wonderful sunburst colour! Simply amazing! I can now understand why people truly find the difference in playability, tone and construction to be so much superior on the Custom shop models! No comparaison, except for my AVRI 63 Precision Bass, which is an exceptionally well-built bass too!
I was watching that model (Precision Bass Pro 2011/2012) a couple of days ago, it is really a worth-buying instrument.
Happy that you like it that much, and, truth be told, the NAV line is the only one to come close to CS stuff. Congrats on your bass!

Nice. Last year I too acquired a CS 55P built around the same time and with the same colour and matching scratchplate. Really useful to have in the collection, different enough tone from a P or J to be clearly identifiable and the deep V neck gives it a vibe of its own.

Nice! I always wanted to pick one of these up when they were available but there was never the right instrument at the right time.
