That's reallyb nice. What is that neck wood? It looks darker than regular maple, unless it's just the camera.

Here's one for yah. It's a 90 I believe. At work right now or I'd take another photo. The FCS logo is on the back of the headstock.

Correct, it is darker. Body is Roasted Ash and neck is Roasted Quartersawn Maple, beautiful combination!

Agreed slick, the whole color palate... Fender got it right on this one. It all works for me. Love 1 ply gold pickgaurd and the darker woods. Well arranged color scheme (IMHO)

I'm finally getting around to posting these two. One is a 40th Anniversary Precision & the other is one of the Rich Briere limited run from 1993. I purchased both new. I never played the 40th Anniversary much. Nice tone buy really heavy. In 1993 Rich Briere commissioned a run of 20 Strats, 20 Telacasters & 20 Bass. No two are alike. Mine is RB 015. It weighs 7 lb 13 oz. The unusual feature is that there is no finger board. The frets are inletted directly into the neck. The necks on those are something I never seen before. What kind of wood is that?

Does that bass of yours have white binding on the body? Looks like it from the pic, but it's hard to say for sure.
