Finally some pics of my CS early '60s Jazz Bass Relic Duo-Tone. Not up to the standard of the pics above, but it gives you the idea. Sorry these were done in a rushI'll get some better ones once my schedule relents. Stack Pots are fun, tricky (not really independent), but sound great! It's a very light and resonant instrument. Can't put it down.
The extensive checking and parts aging are hard to see in thesethough you can easily see the "Duo-Tone" Ash/Alder/Ash planks from the back shot.

59 was the split year when gold guards were getting phased out used up, and tort guards coming in about mid year. So both would be right for that year or RI.
