That’s actually what it came with. I thought it was quite bland with the gold anodized guard. I love the gold on my PB57 sunburst though.
Yep, tort looks better! Is that a standard 62 RI Guard? Looks nice. I like the tort pattern and color.

No, I bought one from a dude on eBay who relic’s real celluloid Fender guards to match the relic’d or naturally worn basses. I was a little skeptical. But, it came in a fit perfect and looks fantastic! I do have a 62 RI tort guard on another white P bass I own. I think this relic’d guard looks much better than the 62.Yep, tort looks better! Thank you!!! I love a gold pick guard on white and sunburst. I just didn’t like how it meshed with the candy tangerine.Although I prefer it with the gold guard, you have a funky P there @MoeTown1986!
Good golly Miss Molly!Hi, gang! Don’t need a number just wanted to chime in and share. Here’s my CS 59 relic in candy tangerine!
Yes I custom ordered it through a local dealer. I say modest only because black is fairly common and not as flashy as a metallic finish or something. But yea, I absolutely love black jazz basses.Congratulations, lovely! Did you custom-ordered it?
Modest aesthetic? It rocks already!![]()
Hows that?Perfect! In order to get a number, post a picture of the CS logo at the back of the headstock, and welcome aboard!![]()

I took down the sale because I do love the bass and am trying to figure out a way to keep it. It's a one of a kind unicorn. 2006
62 CS P, Made for Justin Meldal-Johnsen. Basically Pino specs, but in Oly white. I believe it has a Brazilian RW board too.
Enjoy!
