Fellas,

While trying to re-assmble my bass I broke the tone pot wires off the PC board (preamp?) Looks like a major PIA to re-solder. I also broke the white wire off of the jazz PUP. It came off of the POT or board...I have no clue where it goes.

So, would it be easier just to get a whole new PUP set up? I'm not a huge fan of the Noiseless pickups.
Can I just get a set of Seymour Duncan PJ Quarter Pound'ers and use them? Do I need a new preamp also to attach the new pups to? I'm so lost with all of this.

I promise to never take my bass apart again!

I'm only about 10 miles west, by Hopkins Airport. I do have a weekly practice in Euclid, though.
