I think it was a FSR for GC (or Sweetwater maybe?), for last year or 2019.
Congrats it's really great sexy bass and it's a precision so you're all good.

Legit FSR, but no idea how many. I recognized the color from this Tele in our local Craigslist.

Fender made some rather garish orange ones at that time, too. I think they are great.

As I recall there was a color called "electron blue" for a while, used on MIM instruments. It was a lot more subtle.

It was a limited run for Chicago Music Exchange. Eventually some made their way to other stores on Reverb. I was bummed that they didn’t do a Jazz Bass in the color. They only did a P Bass.

IMO it cries out for a black (or gold) pickguard, but that color is pretty sweet.

I was browsing reverb yesterday and a brand new 2020 Fender player series p-bass caught my eye. It was being sold by a music store in Louisiana and the color was labeled as electron green. I have never seen or heard of this color from Fender, but the store had it labeled as a Limited edition color. I checked on Fender’s website and they don’t have the color listed. Could this be a FSR (Fender Special Run) bass? If so, how many of these are usually made? I saw some things online saying that only 200 were made in the color but I’m not sure I believe that.

I own a limited run transparent blue ash bodied active PBass I bought brand new earlier this year with a 2019 serial number. It was a Sweetwater exclusive. I was surprised by the 2019 s/n, as Sweetwater didn't have many and I waited 3 months for my backorder to arrive. My bass doesn't appear on the Fender website, but the color does.

Since that bass is simply a color change, it's plausible only 200 were made, but hard to verify. I like it!

Racy, showy, gaudy, just my style! Some musicians may balk, but most fun party audience members will love it. First I've seen of it and I wish I could justify yet another bass. There appear to be three on Reverb at the mo.
