extremely interested in the white and the red one

tell us more?

I got the body from ebay ... it may be an SX body ... I am not sure. The neck is a 4 string mighty mite p-bass neck. The block inlays are stickers from a Japanese Ebay seller. The p pickup is a Seymour Duncan Antiquity, and the Stingray pickup is Chinese ebay purchase, The bridge is an olp clone style of a Stingray bridge. It has a 3 band preamp also from ebay, brand name unknown. I think the pickguard is maybe allparts or mighty mite. Tuners and string tree from the internet somewhere. I put them all together. I changed the neck pocket so the neck is 1/2" closer to the bridge and the bridge is also moved back. I also put in a 3 way toggle to switch the bridge pickup for a series / single / parallel operation.

Perhaps another Franken...MIM P Body (shielded/CTS pots/Switchcraft jack/1/4 pounder/Gotoh 201) I have had a few different necks on this body but so far I like this the best...The Chris Aken neck (C shape) is very slim front to back...I love it

I gotta get one of those necks for a project sometime. That bass is classy.

That looks nice if you're looking to add mass. Personally, I'm usually looking to shave mass. The Genuine Fender "Pure Vintage" Original Bass bridge fits the bill for me. This can typically be brought brand-new on ebay for something in the low $20 range. It's the same is what they put on the AVRI's. I guess it really gets down to the sort of look you're going for.

I'm looking to replace the bridge on my deluxe okoume. I want something with adjustable spacing and I'm also not crazy about how it looks.

Sorry for the blury pic, but here is my beloved FrankenFender! A 1999 Precision Special. MIM. Bone Nut, Bad Ass II Bridge, EMG P/J pickups, BQS System 18v Active electronics!! Only thing left to change is the tuners, but it has been like this for 15+ years now, so I think it will probably stay at this level of Frankendom permenently...

Any thoughts on this bridge? Brass is good. Adjustable spacing is good. Cheap is good.

I have used that same bridge twice. They are a decent replacement and well made. I like them on the basses they are on. If you go that route and want to sell the one off your okoume, pm me as I like those and have several of them. I would be interested.

I have not seen the new fender / badass copy bridge in person yet what did or didn't you like about it besides the non adjustable spacing?
I don't think I like it either though I've had bad ass bridges for 25 years on most of my jazz basses and the new one just looks funky to me.
Are these zinc?

Here's one I just finished.
62RI MIJ neck
Indo Squier vintage modified body.
I call this one my fretted Jaco.

Basswood body sounds too nasal I'm eyeballing a 62RI MIJ body ice metallic blue on eBay.
Can anybody here verifying the MIJ 62RI bodies are alder?
One add says it could be basswood
