Fender FSR Club

do any of you guys have the classic Fender dead spots?
The proper FSR 2002 Sonic Blue 75 re-ish in post #258 above....

....has a "deader" spot at C# on the G string - but it's probably the least dead of all me Jazz Basses.

The fact that it's the only one I have with the Bullet Truss Rod arrangement might have something to do with that.

Anyway, who's administering this "club"? Dude should be checking in daily to dish out the numbers. Or has the novelty worn off already? ;)

Here's some bad pictures of mine.

Contemplating a new neck, since mine is just sort of meghfgu.
Either an unlined fretless, or a bound/blocked rosewood. Either with reverse headstock :p

What part of it was a '77...? I didn't see any '77 features on it.

Not the bass, the TBer...77jazz. That's the confusion. ;)

I can't believe how long it took to sell that nice FSR Jazz. For the price, I thought the piranhas would be on it in a heartbeat. Then again, my lovely 2-piece, book-matched, 8.5 pound specimen sat unloved at GC for many months till I picked it up on Black Friday last fall, plugged it in and said WOW!! :D

I'll play! Picked this up yesterday at Guitar Center here in Jacksonville. I know that Guitar Center gets a bad rap sometimes here on TB, but the tech did a great job with the setup on this one! I honestly don't see anything that needs changing. The pickups sound great, it plays as well as any other Fender I've tried and I really like the light weight ash body.

I traded in a 92 MIM P-Bass and a Warwick Streamer Rockbass 5. Add in a $50 off coupon for Father's Day and I got a great deal!! :)
