Fender Jazz Bass pickup wiring options

I have a 2014 fender Standard with "Custom Shop '60s Single-Coil Jazz Bass" pickups.
As I dial in any significant degree of neck pickup, the high end of the bridge pickup gets progressively more dull. Other than going active (effectively electrically isolating them from any interaction), anybody have suggestions for wiring tricks to reduce the problem ?

There might possibly be a way by wiring in a cap at some point, but I’m not sure about that. As I think about it, that would probably screw up the solo’d sound of the neck pickup. You’re trying to change an inherent characteristic of a Jazz Bass. It’s like a Harley owner asking for a way to reduce the torque of their bike.

There’s probably not an easy mod for this or it would be common.
