Fender Jazz MIA or fake?

I was trying to sell my Fender Jazz I bought a couple years ago when I first started playing. A guy who has had 40 or so basses said this might not be MIA. The serial no. shows it to be made in Corona CA in 2005.But the guy pointed out that:
A: the truss adjustment is at the base of the neck
B: the strings are not through the body
C: There's no logo on the back neck plate.
I don't want to sell it as MIA if it's not, I just want the truth (even if it may be painful).
This is probably a no brainer for a lot of you guys (and gals) but I'm not real experienced in this.
Thank you.

Interestingly, it's got the 60th Anniversary badge on the headstock. Those were intended for the '06 basses, which are Highway Ones. That bass was prolly late enough in the production run, that they had started inter-mixing parts and serial numbers.

A few weeks later, and you would have had a bass with graphite reinforcing rods in the neck, a '70s logo, BadAss II bridge and no skunk stripe on the back of the neck. Some would argue, however, those changes aren't improvements.
