Fender logos on Squier basses...

Do you think part of the problem may be if some one puts a Fender logo on a Squier CV and swaps out the electronics etc that it may sound just as good as a legit USA Fender and that may cause some folks to get a little sore?

Put a little better set of pickups in them and a good set of strings and they do sound just as good for far less money than what an MIA model goes for. There's no need to change the logo unless someone is somehow more insecure about how it looks to others than how it sounds to them.

Seems alot of people are under the impression that squier still makes sub par items.

I bet that the vast majority of us could not tell the difference between a Squier with a Fender logo if we didn't know every little specification that is different between Squier and Fender. It is automatically sub par bacause of the Squier name on the headstock. I wish Fender could release a Squier with a Fender logo and then tell everyone that buys it, "Ha!! It's really a Squier!"

How many would honestly say that they knew that after playing it? :hmm:

All the people serious about their music would know...or at least so I've been told... :hmm:
