Do you think part of the problem may be if some one puts a Fender logo on a Squier CV and swaps out the electronics etc that it may sound just as good as a legit USA Fender and that may cause some folks to get a little sore?

The Duncan Design pups that are stock on the VMs are great pickups no reason to change unless your sub conscious about it...

Seems alot of people are under the impression that squier still makes sub par items.

I bet that the vast majority of us could not tell the difference between a Squier with a Fender logo if we didn't know every little specification that is different between Squier and Fender. It is automatically sub par bacause of the Squier name on the headstock. I wish Fender could release a Squier with a Fender logo and then tell everyone that buys it, "Ha!! It's really a Squier!"
How many would honestly say that they knew that after playing it?![]()
