Hi! I live in mexico and I want to buy a "new" bass, in one group of Facebook are this 2 basses, but I don't know which one is better. I play jazz, rock and funk.
If they are equivalently priced, you may find that the Marcus will yield a greater variety of tones; that might be useful, given the breadth of musical styles that you traverse.
You can play any style on any bass, really, and certainly Flea plays rock, funk and ... if you can't play jazz on a "jazz" bass then the bass isn't the problem.
You can play all three on the Marcus too. Easily.
The Flea bass looks much better to me so I'd choose that one, unless maybe the Marcus costs a lot less.
Play both and see which you prefer. Or buy both and sell the one you don't like as much, or keep both.
