Hi guys. I was wondering if all the 60s editions like AVRI, Classic Series, AO have that yellowed neck colour.
Looks like from 70s, necks comes with clear wood finish.
I have a Classic 60s Jazz Bass and an AVRI 74 Jazz Bass. For me, the 74 neck color is so beautiful that I was thinking to get the neck of the 60s painted with the same finish of the 74.
Do you think it will loose it's characteristics?
