Fender Neck Questions

I have a mid 90's MIM P-bass that I have replaced the tuners and the pups on and may replace the neck with a maple J someday, so I understand what you're talking about(ironicly, I bought it because the neck was so good, but want maple). Call the folks who have the neck and see what size the tuner holes are and go from there.
A used Lakland isn't a bad idea, though...

nah i dont like active electronics. i gues i can call them but i thinbk i will probably just get the hipshot hb3 which is the pre 1966 fender reverse tuners, or the fender reissue pre 66 reverse tuners. i can live with reverse i will eventually gewt used to it.
