Fender P-Bass Japan Medium Scale (1987)

I have never seen any. :crying:
please some picture of a medium scale P-bass with fender logo on headstock.
If anyone knows of someone selling, please link ;)

I own a Medium (32") scale Fender - not Squire - Precision. According to the serial # it's MIJ mid 80's. I overpaid for it on CL 'bout a year ago, little dinged up. I put in a Nordy p/u added a Varitone 6-pos tone selector, custom tort P/G and had her painted (not exactly what I was looking for, but it's unique). I added a cream p/u cover just for fun. Just had the frets leveled and had her set up - sounds, plays great. I absolutely love and wouldn't part with it for the world.

Hello, I am awaiting delivery of a medium scale (32") Fender Japan P-bass made in the late 80's (1987 I think). They came as both Squire's (CIJ E-series) and as Fender MIJ. Mine is Fender. I am trying to find out what pickups are installed from Fender Japan in this bass? Are they the same as the Squire CIJ pickups? I had a Squire P-bass CIJ in medium scale before and the pickups were weak. I am hoping the Fender version has better pickups. I would appreciate any info on this bass. There isn't too much I can find on the net. :help:Thanks.

What was the Fender version called? The Fender jazz medium scale is called JB62M.
