Fender Precision Pickups

Hey guys,
New bass day here. Just got a 13 American fender deluxe precision. She's gorgeous and fast as hell. The one question I have is the pickups came uneven- they slant down on each side noticeably and are risen in the middle. Is this normal? My first thought was to even them out but they are slanted perfectly symmetrical so maybe this is by design?

Mine are like that on the fretted... Takes the board camber methinks.

yep that's normal its how mine came its supposed to mimic your fretboard radius to evenly distribute sound
