Am I the only one who read this as the P-Bass and J-Bass are weapons used by people?... because I would deffinately choose the P-Bass over the J in that case... of course bodywood would have more effect in this setting as it needs to be hard but not brittle... also the P Bass is more balanced when grabbed in an attack position.

Don't get me wrong, I definitely dig a good p-bass, but overall I prefer the growl of a J- I've just become so accustomed to the tone I get from my jazz, and I've built a lot of my style around it.

I also prefer the look and feel of the jazz bass
