Fender Precision vs. Fender Jazz

I used to be a P bass guy, but once I put a set DiMarzio Model Js in my geddy/warmoth the J bass sounds much more thunderous.

I'd say jazz because of the low end rumble you get.

Am I the only one who read this as the P-Bass and J-Bass are weapons used by people?... because I would deffinately choose the P-Bass over the J in that case... of course bodywood would have more effect in this setting as it needs to be hard but not brittle... also the P Bass is more balanced when grabbed in an attack position.

jazz. my favorite hands down. the more focused and low-mid esque tone is what i'm all about. i love the slimmer neck, contoured body, and 2 pickups.

i'm all jazz.

I've given the jazz bass many tries, and I've come to the conclusion that I will always be a P-Bass guy

Don't get me wrong, I definitely dig a good p-bass, but overall I prefer the growl of a J- I've just become so accustomed to the tone I get from my jazz, and I've built a lot of my style around it.

I also prefer the look and feel of the jazz bass
