Fender Pro cabs... anyone?

I recently read mention of the Fender Pro 215, and got to thinking about the Fender Pro series cabs.

They discontinued the 410s (which I still own) years ago, but I remember looking for reviews on them, and they were pretty… nonexistent.

I searched “Fender Pro” on TB, only to get results for “Fender” and “pro”…

Any love for the Fender Pro series cabs? Why aren’t they more popular? I doubt it’s for lack of quality… I’m thinking lax marketing or people naturally gravitating towards the more known and well-marketed brands which with we’re all familiar.

Their Fender guitar stuff is popular; I own a Hot Rod Deville 410 and a ’65 ri Twin Reverb, and they’re spectacular, as well as well-known.

So, why didn’t their bass cabs catch on?

In any case, if anyone has and Fender Pro cabs at all, I’d love seeing pics and/or hearing opinions on any of them.

Ive got the 610pro and the 215pro. They are both awesome!! My other cabs are the NV610 and NV412 if that gives you any idea of my tastes. They have great tone and handling and are built VERY well. Tough and Thumpin!
I think there are a few reasons they havent 'taken off'. First they are a little oversized to be an asthetic match to the oversize of the Fender 300pro.. The second reason is that since Fender kinda floods the market with their cheaper and more gimmicky bass combos for beginners that are decent but by no means killer, alot of bassists start to look elsewhere for more 'pro gear'. This is a bit more true because for a while fender wasnt really making the best bass amps anyway. But Ive gone thru a ton of amps and cabs (check my gear list) and I have strangely, after going thru so many "holy grails" returned to fenders and have been just raking in the tone compliments. The 300pro and the TBP-1/MB1200 are just PRIMO GOOD!! and as a diehard DIY/little independent kinda fan, I feel weird singing the praises of something as big as Fender, but praise is given where praise is due. Oddly, I own 4 amps, one is an Ashdown, one is a Fender made SUNN, and 2 of the Fender Pro line of amps. ... Great stuff.

Awesome, and that might keep me busy for a while (not necessarly a good thing, as I’ve got a workshop to attend tomorrow morning)

But still, look at the dates (the second thread being mine, haha.) Not what you’d get from a popular cab, eh…

I think the lack of popularity stems from a non-existent footprint in Guitar Center. I'd love to try some of those cabs out, my TB-600 rules.

I have the 215 pro (with 300 pro head) and love it! It replaced an Eden 410XLT. It's bigger than the Eden but way easier to move due to the tilt back rollers, skid rails and handles underneath. The sound is HUGE and not necessarily a typical warm/round 15" speaker sound if you don't want it to be.

My 410s are larger than others I’ve seen, but I think that’s what gives them their sound.

I once had a right that consisted of two Fender Bassman 4x10's and powered by a Fender TB-1200 and that rig rocked! Then I "downgraded" to a smaller rig and use that now. For what it was worth the TB-1200 was a awesome amp and the two Bassman cab's were pretty good quality all around too.

I tried the 810, 610, and 215 many times (lol, whatever was beneath the 300 pro), and was always very impressed by the tones.
