Fender Roger Waters vs Epi. Jack Casady

Hey guys what do you think which one is better? I am about to buy new bass and I'm thinking about these. I'm playin' alternative rock, indie rock and stuff like that. Now I'm using Yamaha RBX 170 and I like split coil sound of the bass.

Id go roger waters! Really solid bass with a ni e thick neck. Everything about it just feels sturdy and good. But ive never tryed the jc

Both.... as Kink just pointed out they are very different. I am a Fender Guy... so if I could only have one it would be the P...that being said if I had unlimited resources, I would have a cassidy hanging on my wall.

Better is subjective, and those two basses are going to provide a vastly different playing experience and tone.

If you can elaborate a bit more on why you're looking at those models specifically, more specific examples of the music you're playing and what you want and expect from a bass this community will provide you with more information than you could ever expect
