Fender Rumble 100 Bass Amp Powerful Enough?

Hello Folks.

Since we're talking about the Fender Rumble Series, I'm here to get some answers regarding the Rumble 100 watts.
I usually gig at a local coffee house on Thursdays and uses my 50W BA 112 original series. It is perfectly fine with the size of the venue.
But now I am trying to look into a more lighter way to travel. My BA 112 isn't that heavy but the rumble is way lighter, maybe twice lighter.
My question is about its reliability. Does anybody here can share opinion?
Thank you.

That's a very good price. The new V3 Fender Rumble 100's have quite an avid following, and you'd be surprised ( I am) at how many live gigs they slay. Look for yourself at the Fender Rumble Club. Real working bass players playing real gigs with real Fender Rumbles telling the real truth.
+1 I'm one of the many gigging these new Rumble amps. I happen to have the 500C 210 combo that works with my very loud cover band without breaking a sweat.

Okay, this thread is pretty old and I'm a noob here but it still seems to be active. Anyway, I use a Rumble 100 for folk and country type stuff in small bars. I'd say for pub and bar work doing that type of music, trad jazz gigs etc., it's fine for small to medium venues. where the sound level is pitched at a volume that allows conversation a little way from the stage. However, I'm pretty sure it wouldn't cut it where anything much louder would be required.

It's really light, which is what I like about it.

My take on this amp (I owned one) is that it's fine for practicing by yourself or with a low-volume, unplugged group such as your situation.

Anything beyond that, you will be disappointed. An amped guitar and drum kit will drown it out quickly, and it starts to sound like crap as you turn up the volume.

It's also heavy and unwieldy.

I did not own mine very long. There are definitely better options.
Just going back and clarifying for anyone who's looking at this thread: The Rumble 100 I had was purchased new in I believe 2010 - it sucked. Based on the amount of replies of people liking recently-manufactured Rumble amps, Fender seems to have improved them. If you're looking at used models, try to find one of the newer models.
