Fender Rumble 25 or Orange Crush 25?

I'm considering the above two amps. Do you have any thoughts to share on them or advice? Is there another one I should add to the list of candidates?

A/B them both and choose the one you like best. Audition every 25 watt bass combo out there. Pick the one you like best.

I'll be looking at some today. I suppose Guitar Center is the closest and would have the best selection... There's another place that might be good but not sure I want to drive that far.

Guitar Center didn't have what I was looking for in stock but the local Play it Again had an Orange Crush 50 for the price of a 25. It fits (barely) into the available space in my living room so that's what I bought. So far I'm really happy with it. It's a lot less ringy than the old amp. It sounds different so I'm still getting to used to that and playing with the adjustments.

If the 50 is anything like the 25, that's great! I have the 25 and it's a lot more solid than the Fender, built better, fuller sound, better tone, everything.

Thanks, that's reassuring. The OC 50 is only the second amp I have any experience with so I don't have much to compare it to but I think it's great.

The Orange has better cabinet construction and features, tone wise little more clarity too, than the Fender factory speaker
