This is probably the best bet, you'd have every gig covered, the 500 with the 2 10s is amazing. It's the same size as the 200c but inexplicably weighs 2 lb more. Maybe it has the heavy duty handles.

Optimally, you should have 1 of each.
You're going to get opinions both ways, but it really depends on what you want from it and where you will be playing.

Depends on whether you prefer 10s or 15s, and whether 140 watts will cut it for your typical gig. As the form factor is the same, and the weights are similar, there is little else between them. For a quick one-handed carry that will cover most situations, the 500 is my weapon of choice.

i used to have the 200 combo , sold it and got the head and 2 v2 1x12 cabs , i have also owned the 1x15 v3 cab ... all of the gear has been great for my needs , the combo , the head with the 1x15 cab and head with the 2 1x12's ... personally i have never tried the 2x10 combo but im considering getting a combo just for those situations that u want to set up in minutes and same thing when u want to leave ... so let's see , thanks for the info !!!

It's the amp, the 210 cab doesn't have an amp while the combo does, I guess I was expecting it to add more than 2 lbs but what's 2 lbs more for that kind of awesome?

I can vouch for the v3 500 combo. Although the 200 is no slouch.

So, this is probably a more general amp question, but it's about my Rumble combo (v3), so I'm putting it here. Am I going to harm my amp if I play it with the gain and master volume way up toward the max? Say around 3-4 o'clock? I'm not talking about tone concerns, just if I'm at risk of blowing the speaker or otherwise screwing up the amp if I do this.

Good question. Delta-Comp Limiter to the rescue. Your ears should tell you if you've over cranked. Just in case you're deaf or just not listening, when the clip detector is triggered due to hard harmful clipping then the limiter will begin limiting. When this happens you are going to notice.

It's the amp, the 210 cab doesn't have an amp while the combo does, I guess I was expecting it to add more than 2 lbs but what's 2 lbs more for that kind of awesome?

I'm with @Linnin, the 2x10s in the 500 combo weigh a little more than the 1x15 in the 200 combo.

Plus, the extra 300 watts definitely adds some extra "heft"!!!

. But, I think you were onto something there, @J-Bassomatic! The Rumble 115 cab, with just one driver and no amp, weighs 2.5 llb.s more than the 500 combo with two drivers and an amp!! Gotta be the heavy duty handles on the cab!!! (And maybe a little 'cause of the bigger box, too.)

Ha! I make mistakes all the time. Just to be sure I checked with Fender.com, and the Rumble 500 head is listed at 5 pounds even while the Rumble 200 head is listed at 4 and one half pounds. So 300 more watts only weighs a half pound more. The Rumble 500 head costs $79.80 per pound and the Rumble 200 head is $66.44 per pound. The Rumble 200 combo weighs in at 34.5 pounds and at $449.99 is only $13.04 per pound! The Rumble 500 combo weighs in at 36.5 pounds and at $599.99 is $16.44 per pound.

What's funny is my 2 210s and the head together weigh about what my SVT head weighed, maybe a little less.

Whoa, dude! 78 lb.s!! That's 13 lb.s more than a Super Bassman!!! .

I've heard of a tube head that weighs about 98 lb.s, but I can't remember what it is/was now. I was probably thinking "Aw, fahgeddaboudit." as soon I heard it.
