I love my Rumble 75 and the kickback feature. I went ahead and put casters on it which happens to be an excellent upgrade.

They sound great and punch far above their weight ime/imho...those V2 Rumbles convinced me that good sounding amps needn't be so expensive...my band, at the time, gave me 'that' talk...that my Rumble 350 combo (had bought it to be a rehearsal room, small gig rig..) just sounded better (in the mix, in our band, ymmv) than the Mess Walkabout combo + ext cab I had saved up and purchased....
I later used a V2 150 for a pile of gigs which was equally solid....
Wish those V3s were available over here...
As much as I liked the 150 Rumble combo, it was just too heavy for me to lift. I love my Rumble 200 combo. It does everything I need and sounds great doing it. Hey @pudgychef, can't you get V3 Rumbles through Hong Kong?
What's up with that when a lot of my Fender gear say-made in China. Did somebody get mad?
I could...but I would want to go and get it to avoidd any hiccups...
The V2 350 head I tried to purchase (posted it here maybe 3mth ago..felt it was a great deal $200US..) never made it through customs and the import process...
They were heavier...really that's the drawback of the 75 too, I think, really heavy for what it is...but it sounds darn good
This is a total anomaly: An iron fisted Communist government that is completely socialist in that she still owns and controls everything, but with a capitalist economy. Never happened before. Ever. First time in history. China has a small but growing middle class, but still no Fender Rumbles on free trade. Damn Commies!Yes but we still trade with 'em -billions of tons too.
It is really odd....I have been an expat in Asia for years and the availability/cost of gear always surprises me.
I lived in Seoul when all the Epiphones, Laklands, G and L Tributes etc were made there....even at Nakwon Arcade (a 'mall' of 100+ music/guitar shops) you couldn't find them...or if you did it was something you had to do via a shop you knew and 'off the record' and it would be much pricier than back in US/Canada.
Similarly, electronics were the same for a long time...circa when folks used DVD players, I could buy the same built by LG (Lucky Goldstar in the day) DVD player for $99 at Costco or $250 at an equivalent retailer in Seoul..
A Classic Vibe Squier is $535+ here, only available on-line...and were the same $ when they were $375 back home...odd to me as they are made a couple provinces over...
It is remarkable to see...down where I am in Chongqing, the city grows so much, so fast...it is shocking...biggest place in the world that nobody has heard of..
Locals here, in private, will tell you that life has improved so much in the last decade, that they are fine with the plan the govt has...they are living in a boom of quality of life and ability to 'have stuff' ...salaries are low on paper, but have jumped a lot...and with free food, housing, transportation, health care etc, people have a better overall safety net than I thought before getting here.
But I am not smart enough to know if it's good or bad......seems like choice is good.. but I used to have a private English lesson with a guy in Korea that was an alternate on their supreme Court...bigwig at Microsoft (so way smarter than me, by default.) He used to insist that north Asians 'thrive under totalitarian rule' and that it was a mistake of Westerners to try to 'dispense democracy', said it was a well intentioned, yet misguided bigotry...blew my mind to hear ideas like that.

I just think they are smart enough to figure out how to build our own products cheaper than us, and then sell them back to us cheaper than we could sell them back to ourselves. The Chinese learned it from Japan. We taught Japan how to do it so they could rebuild their economy after we bombed the crap out of them.
Ain't sayin' any of it's right or wrong. It's just the way it is. Unintended consequences.
I bought a Peavey Max 110 for a weekly I do as I found one real cheap...and it is enough for that gig with a bit of PA... typically a venue will have backline here...but it varies dramatically though..
Tried to get that Rumble head ..but it fell through
You can buy Markbass or Ampeg here...but quite expensive....even that mini SVT with 2x10 SVT-VR Mini i think..mthe 200w one...would be a $1200+ purchase....

That Japan model worked great in South Korea...and China has some distinct inherent advantages...plus coming of age in such a mature CNC/factory era...look at the Rumbles for prove alone of how amazing the $/value equation China can create is...I don't think they're mad.
