The 2 new Rumbles are combo only. I imagine this means they won't change the v3 cab availability. But who knows. I bet the used market will have v3 stuff for a bit when people plan to upgrade to the new stuff.

Yeah, many big webstores in Europe don't get them (the 210 cab) until end of March/April. Makes me wonder if Fender are going to update the 210 cab to fit the new Rumble Stage 800 combo with new grill and speakers?

The only person I know who has any contact(s) inside Fender is on, er, uh, vacation right now.
But, the newly announced Fender Rumble Stage 800 accepts not just a single 8 ohm extension cab, but any TWO 8 ohm cabs for a 4 ohm external load. So, I wouldn't expect Fender to be abandoning that market now.
On the contrary, the Rumble 112 and 210 cabs are so popular, and OCD approved size, that they probably are just having trouble keeping up with demand! Check availabilities and place your order accordingly. Or search for used.
ps: I bet if they made a 115 cab the same size as the 210 cab, they would also be harder to find.
I used to have one of those. It’s perfectly fine for at-home practice or low-volume jamming with a guitarist. Can’t imagine it keeping up with a drummer, though if that’s what you need.
Thanks. No it would not need to compete with a live drummer. Just practicing (I'm tired of being in headphones) or possibly solo multitrack recording the amp with a mic. I have heard the newer model rumble 15 is "ok" for mic'd recording like that. I'd didn't know if the sound of the older model was horrid or useable.
I'm just about to make the plunge. I'm torn between the Rumble 500 combo (210) and the rig (410). The more I read and think about it, the more I'm drawn to having a separate head (Rumble 500) and the Fender 410 cabinet. I'd really like to get the gear before the close of the month.

I'm the singer-bass player in a three-piece and the little Laney I'm using gets lost in the mix of drums and guitar. We're a pretty dynamic trio able to go from acoustic-style to pumping rock. Our drummer does have pretty heavy hands and we're constantly trying to get the sound just right in the room. Our guitarist seems to have a thousand effects pedals going through his Bugera. At gigs, the sound guy is always trying to get a little more out of my bass.
So, I'm hoping to get an amp set up with plenty of head room.
I have the 500 combo with the 210 extension cab. Plenty of headroom, can easily play with a heavy handed drummer and loud guitars.
I agree...with the type of music you are playing, the 10's would be better, IMHO.
I don't think I turned my master up past noon during a gig with my last band, which was a heavy rock band. And that was without PA support. My rig is loud!
I have gigged a Rumble 200 v3 paired with a Rumble 2x10 v3 for more than a few years now and I have never been disappointed nor found wanting more volume. I play primarily 5 string basses and this combination handles the low B quite well!
Today I ran my MXR 10 band eq through the effects loop and it made a huge difference vs in the signal chain with the bass. I am going to experiment more with other eq rack units I have and adding an Alesis 3630 rack compressor in the loop helped even things out when really digging in. Pics to come.

I am curious to hear your feedback on running eq through the effects loop and how it changes or improves the sound of the v3 models in other configurations. I am thinking of adding a 115 v3 extension to the arsenal for these setup options: R200+210ext or R200+115ext or head +210ext+115ext.
I would also like to test an R500+115ext. Having more power might be nice, but again, power is certainly not lacking.

I've found that using an fdeck HPF-3 really helped my Rumble 200 C A LOT - I would highly recommend giving that a try...
I just picked up a Rumble combo 500. A local music store was blowing some out at $450 out the door. (pics to come later). My question is about the Rumble 210 extension cab. Does it have the same drivers as the combo 500. I'm probably going to add this cab for bigger jobs and was just wondering if it had the same drivers.

Yes, they are the same. I have been using a 500c with the 2x10 and it sounds really great. (probably better than the 1/12)
