Fender Rumble Club

Used the 500 combo and the 1x15 at a Halloween party on Friday night. I play with a very loud drummer and have to compete with a guitarist using a 150w Blackstar tube amp and 4x12. I easily cut through the mix without pushing the rig very hard, and just a few button switches and a couple notch adjustments between my J Bass and P Bass and I was ready to go. Got a lot of nice comments on my tone, and was really able to hear my soloing quite well. Two thumbs up from me.

I guess it's time that I take a number...

I bought my 500 combo back in April. Being that I live in Chicago, it's tough lugging tons of gear around town especially when you don't have your own vehicle! I instantly fell in love with the combo for countless reasons. Just last week I purchased the 1x15 cab - I swear I have died and gone to heaven. This amp is a tone king! I absolutely love the modular design and simplicity of my new rig. I am never switching!

Now that looks perfect !
I used mine again yesterday at a gig in a large bar with the GK 2x10 ext cab and it really adds a lot more warmth and headroom to the combo, but I know the rumble 15 will do better. :)

I love this BUT, I hate that Fender didn't make the cabs a consistent size. Turned on the side fits, but the logos are askew and the rubber feet hang off the side. I suppose you can move the logo ... And the rubber feet could come off. But, would it have been so hard? All the other manufacturers figured it out.

Any pics of the 500 combo on top of the 115 NOT on its side?

I feel the same way. I think there are some pics a few pages back.

I am having build quality problems with my 500 head. The cover made out of thin metal resonates and rattles when playing a bit louder with 115 cab. Two out of three small buttons seems to have connection failures. Not happy.

Sorry to hear about that.

Still, reliability has been excellent, for a new product that has been selling off the shelves. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the only other quality issue reported to date on the V3's, was some discoloured control knobs on one amp. Fender responded quickly to that problem, so hopefully, you'll get similar service.

That's very good, compared to the number of issues reported on early (and in some cases even recent) Ampeg, G-K and Genz Benz micros...

Yeah, hopefully you're right. However, I was among the first ones who bought the 500H and there might be more reports to come in the near future. Mine is about 6 months old now. As I said, hope you're right.
