Fender Rumble Club

So I went to turn on my v2 Rumble 150 last night and had bits of the power switch pop off in my hand. Hopefully I can source a replacement for the switch. The amp module come out of the cab easy and the switch connects with for spade connectors. Is it true that Fender is no longer supplying parts?:( (My daughter says I shouldn't try to work the switch with a paper clip. Good advice?) Hope I can find an alternate source.
I'd imagine an identical part could be found at a electrical parts outlet.
Goodluck

hey i am looking to record my bass by plugging my rumble 100 directly into a focusrite scarlett 2i2 2nd gen, via the XLR out. Does anybody know what setting to have my scarlett on, (line or instrument) and whether to engage the ground lift on my rumble or not?
by the way my bass has active pickups if this makes any difference.
Line. Do it all the time. Enjoy.

Well, my 210 extension cab arrived over the weekend. Just had a chance to plug it in for the first time, and as soon as I add the extension cab, I get a consistent hiss coming out of both cabinets. When I unplug the extra 210, it goes away. The hiss is loud enough to be easily audible out in front of the cab.

Any thoughts on this, or have any of you experienced this? I am using a heavy-gauge 1/4” speaker cable to connect the extension cab. The combo is dead silent when it’s not connected though. Amp issue? Cabinet issue?

Bit hazy about the spec of the ext cab. Does it have a tweeter? If so have you tried switching off or otherwise adjusting the tweeters in the combo and the ext cab?

Here's my new Rumble 100 cover. I use rip-stop nylon to make box-kites. When you run a hot soldering gun along a straight edge, it cuts and seals the edge. If you cut two pieces together, it melts them together. There is some rip-stop that is just slightly heavier, so I thought I'd try to make an amp cover. I think it worked!

Be careful, man. With that thing on it, your Rumble could blow away in a high wind!

Well .... My affair with my Rumble 500 head has ended, this Sunday, we were doing a benefit/open mic, which was a bit long, 1-8 pm, out on an open stage, with good reliable house power, ( voltage was 121volts, I checked with my Flukie multi meter, and good ground ) after about 5 hours it just plain quit, wouldn't power up, air vents unobstructed, checked/swapped the power cords, brought out my back up amp and finished the gig, while packing/ tear-down, I tried it again, on another known circuit, same issue, won't power up, well this morning, it Powers up, but there is a one one thousand, two one thousand wait for it to power up, called Sweetwater, they had me go through a couple of ask and answeared questions, end result, is I got a RMA# and this amp is going back, just can't have an amp that may go out, granted any amp can go out, at a moment's notice, but an amp that's a couple of months old shouldn't do this, the back up amp was my other Rumble, Rumble 350, it really wasn't that hot, granted my definition of hot is somewhat different, as I'm in the Houston, Tx area ... Oh well, let's see what happens next

That's very unusual @jastacey. Sad that it had to happen to you. There have a few Rumble 500s here at the Fender Rumble Club that have had issues, but very few. I think yours might make 5 since they were introduced in 2014. Between Sweetwater and Fender they will get you all sorted out and the quicker the better.

This is no amp that will not fail. You need to find out who your nearest Fender Authorized Service Center and get it to them. You will have a new amp in a short time.

Any amp can take a crap. At least here we have a forum to discuss issues and get helpful hints.

Had same darn problem, twice @jastacey ! Admit the ambient temperature was pretty hot. Did it give off any 'crackle' before finally giving up? There was some warning here but then dead. Playing pretty hard for a few hours. Trying next day OK again.

Second unit I've had but I expect I'll be asking for something different in exchange so perhaps my Rumble experience is over?

So I got of the phone this morning with Fender Support re: my Rumble 150 combo (see #26419). No, they don't carry parts for the unit anymore, but the lady on the line took the time to look up the part #. At first I thought she said the part manufacturer's name was "Wrong Thing"! Not off to a good start. Actually it is "Rong Feng". They have a distributor in Santa Ana, CA. The part, RF-1003-B4-blk, went into a lot of Fender stuff. We'll see what shows up in the mail.:)

I joined the Rumble club recently, after much thought i settled on the 500 Combo and a 1x15 cabinet. Tons of great info on which cab to use as an extension. I also play 5 strings, and also favor 12's and 15's. The 500c with 2x10s is great by itself. With the 115 it adds that extra uumpph I was looking for.
Compared to the GK MB-115-ii, I think the rumble is equally as loud.
I will also be running the 115 cab with my Fender TB-1200 Head. The cabinet weighs hardly anything and sounds great for a $300 new cabinet. Mine was a sweetwater demo cab for $269 shipped.

2012 Fender American Std Precision, Rumble 500c, Rumble 115, GK MB115-II. This is my current gigging & practice setup.
Love it!
I know a lot of people say to match cabs, but 500w into 2 x 10 with a 15 just seems so awesome!
