If that's not Leo it's a damn good facsimile. Maybe it's done with digital modeling.@FirewalZ, is that actually Leo? And, if so, why is it copyrighted 2009?

Either way, Leo is looking dapper in that shirt he's sporting. If that's not Leo it's a damn good facsimile. Maybe it's done with digital modeling.
Just an image someone posted in a Facebook group....i have no idea where it originated, but thought it looked cool.@FirewalZ, is that actually Leo? And, if so, why is it copyrighted 2009?
It's not completely inconceivable, but I don't think it likely. Why go to all that trouble, when a simple product placement will do just as well? Here is another angle on this, but is is purely hypothetical with no evidence to back it up.
What if manufactures (like Marshall) put up the fake amps as a marketing ploy. All the young wannabees in the audience will see the giant cabs and Marshall will get stuck in their heads. Now they think Marshall has to be the coolest amp in the world because <insert favorite rock band name here> uses them and they are like the best ever.
Isn't that product placement? At a huge event, it would have to be that big to get any notice. It's not completely inconceivable, but I don't think it likely. Why go to all that trouble, when a simple product placement will do just as well?
"Looks promising. Mud Stand for Bass Amps
Here's an image from their facebook page featuring a Rumble 200/500 combo. Perfect fit too.
I'm about ready to put one of these together for my R40, I've got all the pieces.
I don't think it would work for the R2-10 cab I'm about to get though...![]()
The Mud Stand is made of dense foam. It's its own damper.Interesting. Intuitively it seems like unless the stand is made of something with vibration-dampening qualities it's going to vibrate a lot against the floor anyway, but that's not based on any experience. Supposedly Neil Young insists on putting his Twin Reverb on a stand that goes through a hole drilled through the stage and gets bolted to the concrete floor of the arena. I guess that's one way to keep it from vibrating the stage, although when you're going to have to mic it and play it through a massive PA anyway, I'm not sure I see the point.
It is acoustically engineered and structurally ridged. Put your amp on a damper, not a dumper. The Mud Stand is made of dense foam. It's is its own damper.

It is, but not a simple one. And more than would be needed, as people would be able to see an ordinary Marshall stack just fine. No, this is more likely someone compensating for the size of - well, something else.Isn't that product placement? At a huge event, it would have to be that big to get any notice.
I'm about to pull the trigger on a Rumble. Just stressing over whether a 100 is too small to use with a band, or if a 500 is too large to strap onto a motorcycle. Anybody wanna sway me with some cold hard facts?
It's the Fender Rumble 40/800 hologram patch no.1If that's not Leo it's a damn good facsimile. Maybe it's done with digital modeling.
Loaded his Rumble 100 on the back seat of his Honda. Anyone else done this?
Why would anyone want to strap an amp to a lawn mower? My Rumble usually travels in the trunk of my Honda![]()
That, too. I do, however, disagree that people would notice a single stack. You and I would, but most would not.It is, but not a simple one. I'm sure you're right about that - on the other hand, I'm thinking that a maker of amps wouldn't be targeting most people, but people like you and me (possibly in a younger incarnation). That, too. I do, however, disagree that people would notice a single stack. You and I would, but most would not.
